Wedding Weekend Timeline

Dear family, friends and random exotics,

First off, if you made it that far into our website we assume you will be coming and are crazily happy that you have decided neither to spare the time nor the money but to join us for an unforgettable weekend in the Austrian Alps. Below you find the plan. Mind you that this is a plan, and as it goes with plans, they might subtly, however, not essentially (in this case) change. So check-in occasionally to make sure you are still up-to-date.

In that sense... lets's create some memories!!

Friday, August 30th - Arrival & BBQ

Today we take it slow. Arrive at any time convenient for you and get cozy at your accommodation. In the evening there will be a barbecue (please RSVP) from 5 p.m. onwards at a location t.b.d.

UPDATE JULY 2019

We are super happy to letting you know that we have fixed the location for the get-together on Friday. We will come together at the beautiful and cozy Schwarzachtalalm for some "Brettljause and Kaiserschmarrn" (Tyrolian specialties). Food is on us, drinks are on you. Please bring some cash as credit cards won't work.

The Alm is located in a traffic restricted zone and can be reached from the parking by a 40 minutes scenic walk up the valley. You get to the parking by driving from Gerlos towards Zell am Ziller. Shortly after you have left Gerlos you will see the Restaurant "Kühle Rast" where you make a left into the parking.

Alternatively you can go all the way up to the Alm by Taxi. The local Taxi company is Taxi Kammerlander and Taxi Reini. Please contact the companies approximately 1 hour prior pick up time.

Looking forward to seeing you!!

Saturday, August 31st - The Big day

Saturday, the big day! Taxi shuttles are will be provided to bring you from the village to the Alm. They depart at 12am from the station of the cable car in the middle of Gerlos (Dorfbahn, Gerlos 141a, 6281 Gerlos, Österreich). Latecomers will have to take a hike :)

As we have received this question several times now, allow us to shed some light on this topic. The organized shuttle will bring you up for the ceremony and will bring you down to your accommodation at the end of the night, and hopefully in the early morning hours. If you require some transport in between you have to organise it yourself. Taxi calls are possible. In case you are joining as a family, there will be a  room at the Alm where kids can sleep. It will be in the same complex where the party takes place and there will be trained staff to look after the kids and inform the parents if required. So you can unwind and enjoy the party.

The ceremony will start at 1.30 pm on the terrace of the Rösslalm (if weather permits). Subsequently, we will spend the rest of the day at the Alm until we switch of the lights at the end of the party.

SundaY, September 1st - ALM Brunch

As nobody should travel with empty stomach we would like to organise a brunch to which you are cordially invited. The brunch will be at the Rösslalm, where we have hopefully created loads of great memories the night before. Here again, and as for the Friday's gathering, we'd like to ask you to pay for your drinks and transport yourself, while the food will be on us. Shuttles service will be organised and depart from the mountain cable car station in Gerlos (Dorfbahn, Gerlos 141a, 6281 Gerlos, Austria) at 10.30 am. Cost for a round trip will be 15€ / adult. Children are free as long as they find space on their parents laps.
